Killing Time by Linda Howard

Title: Killing Time
Author: Linda Howard
Genre: Romantic suspense, sci fi
Topical Arc: Books from my bookshelf.
Pages: 363
Copyright Date: 2005
Cover: Dark blue with silver letters. There is a subtle picture in the bottom right, a man and woman asleep with hands intertwined. The woman has blond hair, the man has a dragon tattoo.
First line: "There was a small turnout, about fifty people, to watch the time capsule being buried next to the flagpole in front of the county courthouse."
Best part: It was light and engaging.
Worst part: Inconsistent writing, especially as it concerns the main character and what she understands about the 21st century.
Imaginary Theme Song: "Time After Time" - Cyndi Lauper
Grade: C-
Recommended for: Fans of time travel stories.
Related Reads: I can't honestly think of any other book I've read that falls into the "romantic suspense with time travel" genre.
